I think if you're regularly not active you should be banned from at least the next game. I mean some people can't be super active because of their time zone and still want to play, but there's a difference between those people and people who sign up but just have way too much going on in their lives to keep up, or lose interest after a couple days. I also think there should probably be a minimum amount of veterans/"good" players in order to start a game, like you and others have said the absence of a number of people in this game is making it a lot less exciting. Though what constitutes one of those can be debated I guess.
