Easily my favourite tourists to interact with, whether it's through work or on a night out.

You's is good people
They can be a bit thick sometimes though :D

I love spanish, definetly a good time with them. Australians are awesome if you want to get shitfaced drunk or high on whoever knows what stuff :D

Americans drinking 'light' beer, I'll never get my head around that one

Lol last month our Greek bartender get orders from american bussinessmen/tourists in our resturant. The usual, asking for best local swedish beer or European beers, then last one of them goes "do you have light beer?" He goes quiet, ignores the order, locks eye contact with other guys drinking their beers and says with dead pan delivery"Friends don't let friends drink Light Beer" :D

You've encountered many Americans, that could be true, but we really don't travel much as a culture. It's the reason we're so afraid of terrorists, russia, foreigners, russian terrorists, African, Asia, and latinos.
I can say the same here, most people that don't travel or watch a lot of tv are afraid of all those things. Apart from russians of course, cos we know they are worm and cuddly inside. (apart from RUS, but he's not really russian)

Americans suck at traveling. As a culture we probably travel least out of the developed world.

Yeah my folks are good. They want to buy Galway though. So enjoy it while you can.
Really? Seen plenty when travelling or here in Sweden, besides the usual bussiness peeps, american tourists are fun and quite open peeps in their own way hehe.

You have to realize, we're a country of 365 million people. So if .10% travels, that's a lot of people but not in grand scheme of things.

Oh thats true, the more ignorant hoarde are the ones who usually think they dont even need a passport. Seen some documentary before where part of it, they were discussing how insane amount of US citizens genuinly dont see any point of registering for a passport even.

But from my own experience, most of those I encountered travelling are awesome :D Not obnoxious dweebs like ze english or aussie tourists tend to be.

If anyone in my group of friends orders anything other than a pint or a spirit, they get verbally abused for the length of time it takes them to drink their drink :D
