Virginia ABC's are OK. I have a friend who works for NABCA and compiles alcohol sales data, it is pretty cool to see the sales trends of control states from whisky to vodka and back to whisky. Talk about a cool job.

Chopin vodka is by far the best vodka I have ever had, and it is a Polish potato vodka. Just another jab at the Russians.

It was like 15 degrees yesterday and now it's zero. They announced a 'big' snow storm coming this way tomorrow night, they say we'll get 10-30cm of snow in one night with some heavy wind as well. So in the next 7-10 days we'll have -10 to -17 morning temperature I hate this. fml gimme sun back...

It's not easy because everybody is in gouge-mode for the evening. Actually, you reminded me that I'm going with my neighbors that evening to an awesome Sardinian place in the 'hood. I'll be rollerskating in St. Helena the next day.

But if I had to pick something else on NYE for dinner, hmm... 1760's sister, Acquerello, is great. Bix would be a fun environment too. Foreign Cinema if you can get a table. Absinthe is always good, and their sister bar -- the Comstock Saloon -- is a cool jazz place that Sheik and I went to and really liked (and I think they're doing a NYE dinner thing there... the food is better than the word "saloon" might suggest).
