What girl doesn't like a little spotted d$&k from time to time... :boh:
My wife made one of those recently for her book club.

Seems like a perfect environment for some forumopoli.

I swear i've seen same discussion about the forum year ago. It just comes back from time to time, 'forum is going downhill', 'too much this, too much that', 'teenagers these days...'.
I've read comments that the forums are going downhill and that the new members suck every year for the past decade. So I'm a bit jaded and blinded by it.

Everyone misses the honeymoon period.
Not exactly. My honeymoon period on these forums was more like a guy fumbling around to put on a condom for the first time. The crowd was much closer knit and much different then, and fitting in the conversations going on was honestly a bit more of a challenge. At least for me.

I think I finally started ingratiating myself by being one of the weirdest posters here for a while. There was a time where my avatar was a series of GI-Joe-like doll head photos where the 360-degree perspective changed a little every few days.

Shit, you were a prequel to me.

Probably a product of forum growth. When forums get bigger then inevitably they are going to end up attracting all sorts of people, including those who bring lesser quality. Then you see the older core members becoming cynical and some eventually leave, a new core is formed, rinse and repeat. I've seen on other forums people who used to be respected members have to resort to trolling and dumb jokes to get their posts noticed these days because that's what the majority now deem acceptable and normal. Which in turn might actually deter new people from joining if that's the vibe the regulars project.

I can't imagine you ever feeling awkward here.

For me, had the climate been the same at the time as it is now, I don't know if I would have felt the same connection or been really put off by my reception. It was a nice chemistry.

Didn't appreciate his little outburst in the Thrones Thread. Will be bringing up his Society membership at the next Sauna meeting
He's angry tonight:

True. As this number of garbage posters increase relatively, and the ones with actual added value post less or not, its an indication of the downward spiral of this board.

Strongly considering leaving this place, such a shithole it became.

Angry ? Why, cause i pointed out a fact ?

I'm disappointed, not angry.

Also a bit fed up with uneducated peasants who reject certain things i state, that are in my two fields of expertise. One at an academical level.

And I did not say i'm stronger then "the mountain". I only said i could match his Hummer tire deadlift if i'd train for it.
