I slice myself all the time, when I was a kid I had a rusty nail go through my foot and nothing happened. But at work they do that because it only takes one time to get tetanus and it's a sort of liability thing. If you get tetanus they will get in major trouble, not to mention having to pay a lot more than a tetanus shot. Also if you get tetanus doing something else, you can't blame it on the workplace since they're like "we gave him shots".

Easiest way to end in the newspapers is if you read them while crossing the street.

True story.

Conclusion of the day: People are so weird, I think it's better to always have headphones on. Maybe you won't hear anything smart but you'll also avoid 99% of bs that you hear in the bus.

Btw it has been 2 days since I went on this company training. It was only theory talking and I was the most active person out there, it seems pretty damn easy. I don't know if other people just don't care or they have no idea what's going on. But so far I'm satisfied and now I'm waiting till Monday, then we start working on a platform for 8 more days. If everything goes well hopefully I'll nail it, so far so good.

See, I think we should do all that, but it's better if you wear the headphones so one is on your forehead, the other on the back of your head, nothing plugged in at the end of the cord, and bob your head yelling, "I LOVE THIS SONG!" and then you'll miss 99% of everything anyone would ever think to say to you.
