I sometimes eat a mini fried pizza. You make the dough, fry one side, turn it, fry the other side, add some sauce, mozzarella and Italian sausage on it. Delicious! Takes just a few minutes to do.

Your version sounds similar to a fried bake over here except you cut it open after frying and add stuff inside which is not all that bad. In some pics I saw where they dipped the pizza in batter and deep fried the whole thing.
