Hey, it is a start. Why would they do it in English?

Yeah, at least I got some interview experience and this 2 week course might help me somehow, but I really hope I get hired in the end.

I have no clue. Majority of companies in Serbia are foreign and I see many ask for fluent English (written/spoken) but when I saw this job add everything was written in Serbia and they only said 'good English required' (mostly it's excellent/fluent). I didn't even expect it when I went over there, pretty traumatic moment lol.

I had my first interview on Monday. I was preparing for it the whole weekend and thought I had everything checked.. or at least the big parts of it. When I showed up there a guy walked me in the office and said 'please take a seat...' I was like 'holy fuck, I had no idea I'm going to be interviewed in English!'. It took me a couple of minutes to get used to simply because the last time I spoke was like.. 2-3 years during my studies when I was on the exam. It was intensive as hell. But it went pretty well in the end. He offered me a 2 weeks training at the company (and many others, I think) so if I turn out to be 'good' I might get hired. So now I'm pretty much waiting to see when the training/course will take its place.

Thanks I believe I can speak just as good but I'd need some time to frequently use it on daily basis, just to get used to it. Like living in the US (or somewhere) for 2-3 weeks.

We almost didn't see any snow this winter lol, we had like 3cm of now at most and it held for a couple of days only. It's been 10-25 degrees for major parts of the month(s).

Man, I hate some of my co-workers after todays meeting. Not only do they lack professional competence, one of them was straight up lying. What a fat dumb bitch. It's just too much "we always do/have done it like this" and lack of a normative approach.

I almost laughed out loud, when she slipped and falled in the kitchen yesterday. Of course she couldn't do anything afterwards, but today it wasn't a problem since she was out bowling with some of the kids.
