so the other night i seen the most surreal thing, like when someone does something so ridiculously stupid you can't quite believe it was real
Getting off the Bathgate train with my bike, there is a footbridge between the two platforms with steps and an elevator at each side of the bridge.
A blonde woman eitha suitcase was just ahead of me up the first set of stairs when she reached the top an elderly gentleman (who couldn't use the stairs) got out of the lift .....then the blonde woman got in....

I started to giggle straight away and rushed over the bridge and down the steps to see the blonde woman get out the lift...confused look on her face to see what she was back on the original platform and not somehow mysteriously transported across the bridge..

I had my first interview on Monday. I was preparing for it the whole weekend and thought I had everything checked.. or at least the big parts of it. When I showed up there a guy walked me in the office and said 'please take a seat...' I was like 'holy fuck, I had no idea I'm going to be interviewed in English!'. It took me a couple of minutes to get used to simply because the last time I spoke was like.. 2-3 years during my studies when I was on the exam. It was intensive as hell. But it went pretty well in the end. He offered me a 2 weeks training at the company (and many others, I think) so if I turn out to be 'good' I might get hired. So now I'm pretty much waiting to see when the training/course will take its place.
