Of course she wasn't right to do that, but that doesn't justify your immature behavior. As we say in Denmark: "If you don't like the smell in the bakery, then find another place". But be nice, she's your mother after all.
That's what I did, I'm not coming back again because I understand it's her house and her rules but she just can't expect me to respect her when she's said even worse things.

I don't regret it.

@Søren Krarup raised by mothers means our view of life is through the lenses of a woman, with the exaggerated and dramatized sense, and more importantly with guilt for being a man who is perceived to have historically been a tyrant and exploiter of women, and also of the same sex of the individual who left the woman do all the raising. This of course with the unrelenting help of a culture completely genuflecting to every feminist whim. As soon as one rids himself of this weight he will be free to be what he truly is.
Interesting. It's actually quite annoying, especially at uni, you cannot stand up for men at all otherwise you are a Sexist.

@Dule90 you are definitely the opposite of me.

I think (and hope) you'll regret it. Otherwise you wouldn't have had the need to post it here. Any way, I think most have been in a situation similar to yours. Borderline is, even if your mother went over the line, she's your mother after all, and the reason you are here. Show her some respect and apologize.

Moms say all kind of crazy stuff when they are disappointed. :boh: I've had many lectures during my life.

Don't get me wrong Volly, I don't hate my mom and for sure everything will be okay between us. I just got angry and suddenly snapped after some painful things she said.

But I can't live with her and I'm not coming back this time.

It's a cruel fact that you can only live with your parents until some point. It would end up in a catastrophe if I would try to live with my parents again. Live changes, people grow up and take their own paths. Nothing new about that.

But it's good that you already have that on your mind.

Finally moved out again. I just can't live with my parents, especially my mom.

A few days ago she went through my bro's phone and read all his conversations about weed stuff, even convos with me. Shit git crazy and she threaten me with kicking me out and blah blah.

I can't stand her anymore and today I snapped before leaving. So, I told her to fuck off while giving her the middle finger and left.
So you have a mother who actually cares about you, who wants the best for you, and who worries that you'll make the wrong kind of mistakes and wants to help you to avoid making the serious ones.

What a terrible curse indeed.

Would be much better to have one of those moms who regrets not aborting you in the highway rest stop -- who really wishes you would just disappear from her life so she can go back to being selfishly focused on her own needs and wants.

Actually, I'm very excited about the future. Living on my own again but this time I make more than enough to live comfortable.

Yeah, shit would explode if I spent one more week with them.

Sure. I know she cares and I appreciate it but she's just too paranoid and protective. It was wrong to tell her to fuck off but she pushed me.

And she has stated before that she wishes we hadn't been born. Prolly she didn't mean it but the way I see it that's encouraging me to disrespect her.
