Getting drunk texts from super hot blondes who are already drunk at distortion. But no, I'm stuck here writing a paper on scientific realism / anti realism :groan: .

Got a funeral tomorrow where it appears I'm likely to be on pall-bearing duty, which isn't something I've done before.

Anything I should be aware of or watching out for beyond the really obvious stuff like not falling into the grave?

I did that once.. don't walk too fast.
I think abdy else will have done it before, so as long as I'm not at the front that shouldn't be an issue.

I view it as a mighty poor show that other family members keep getting older and more decrepit so I have to step up and fill in.

Inconsiderate gits.

drunk hot girls at 4:55 CET on a wednesday? if denmark wasn't so grey shit and depressing it would be awesome
Distortion festival in cph. Around 30.000 passable ladies all drunk out of their minds and located in a relatively small area, so it just isnt your fault if you grind. :depressed

Stay for the inappropriate touching. :agree:

Just make sure you're aware and available to the funeral directors, who are going to give everybody the high sign when it's time to mobilize. At my mother-in-law's funeral, one of my wife's cousins wasn't paying attention and embarrassingly had to be replaced by someone else when the time came. Otherwise you'll be fine.

I imagine I'll struggle tough to miss it, since I'll be sitting in about my dad and his brothers who will also be pall-bearers.

The more you think about it, the more chance you'll cock up & make a mistake, like walking backwards.

Just take it as it comes mate. You'll be right.

Yeah, I'm not particularly concerned.

It's just that having been fortunate enough to have not gained much funeral experience over the years, I'm not too hot on procedure and I'm now thrown into one where I'm expected to play a more active role.
