Nice, @Nzoric

Not familiar with those, but I'm pretty sure that's a sweet deal. I love that you care about sound quality as much as you do :touched:
They're pretty sweet. If you want to read up on them: http://www.musicradar.com/gear/tech/recording/monitors/studiophile-bx8a-deluxe-164974

I'm doing the same now. Just got a call from a friend who runs a sound engineering firm, he told me to come and get em if I want them because he got some new ones on a pretty sweet deal himself.

You definitely notice that they're bi-amped btw, amazing how clear both the bottoms and tops are. Also, who doesn't want speakers made of woven Kevlar? That's metal if anything is. :D

I was talking more about the second part of your comment.

And how would I know you were calibrating? Read your mind on the other side of the world?? Plus, it's Crack The Skye :p So it made it seem even more like you were listening :D

ok guys,
gotta rant
had a "friend" visit me for a couple days
been "friends" with her since high school, and i realise more and more everytime i see her how much i need to cut her out of my life

we went out for dinner twice this weekend, and everytime the bill comes, she ignores it
so obviously i pay it, no problem, i like paying for people but you'd think after i pay a million times, she would OFFER? or mention it? or even say thank you?
what am i ??
sick of being taken advantage of by her, she knows i'm kind, and i'm usually the first to reach for the bill and i dont like when people pay for me, but honestly - i just can't imagine ever doing that to someone

this is only one of the many problems i have with her
done, never again am I letting her visit me again - i can't keep forgetting how ridiculous she is
Yo, Kateski. Bummer. This is what we call "high maintenance friends". My wife is notorious for cutting people off who aren't making at least as much effort so she can focus instead on the rest, and it works for her.

I suppose it depends on whether she has redeeming qualities or not. It's not clear there's even that much in your post. If so, I'd tell her point blank that if the two of you hope to sustain the relationship, she needs to step up her game because you feel it's all a bit one-sided.

Or you just ignore her.

As you get older, I think you learn to cherish your good friends more and learn to dump the leeches who were merely convenient.

Good luck with that...

Interesting to note that you abandon your normal writing style when angry.

And I refuse to spend time with folk who don't pay their fair share.
