Not quite as materially priviledged here, but they definitely want me to take my drivers license too. The way I see it: When I'm heading to my Uni in the morning there is so much trafic in Cph that it takes double the time with a car when compared to public transport. My monthly ride all you want card ( ) is 100 EU, and I can get home when I'm at my drunkest and most dangerous to society .

Now that we've finished the serious stuff, the very good friends from high school took me out yesterday on a 'free' bender to celebrate that I sent in my Bachelor project not so long ago. I don't think I've ever had a better evening out, we went to Heidi's and I'm fairly sure that I got to motorboat the female bartender dressed like a german Alp girl Hooked up with the security guard becase we were smoking so much, some dudes started shit at the toilet - we didn't even get to touch him before the bouncer had planted a kick to the groin and two knees to the neck

Even had the chance to get laid but the combination of jagerbombs, tequilla shots and 1l Pints killed me off about 3:30.

Yes a very cool story, incredibly fun evening out

On my way to earliest cinema showing I ever been to, The Hobbit 3D, it's also most expensive, ridicolous to think going to cinema used to cost 70 kr (like 7 euros) not long ago, but now with certain 3D movies costs 150 kr.

We're a small country, a car is not a necessity (unless your work requires it). I'm planning to stay in Copenhagen, and biking is by far the best way to get around.
That being said, I will probably get a license in the near future.

Same here, which is why I drive such an urban crapbox that I barely put 3km/year on until my most recent job that required the commute.

There's the rub: required the commute. Voluntarily, I would avoid if at all possible.

Cars are primarily money-eating, earth-raping necessary evils.
