No, they're "dimmed" down from what the actual footage will look like. Jackson's 1st cut apparently looked like it was done with an HD camcorder, meaning the definition was so crisp that it took a lot of the cinematic quality that lighting and what-not add away from the look. Which is why he showed it to a small group of people. He said they anticipated this and were planning on adding a lot in post.
That has to be incredible even more excited now

Is the Hobbit still being made in two parts? I really should know, I'm a huge LOTR fan, but this movie has just dragged out for so long I've kind of lost interet.
I heard three parts but I could be wrong. I'm very excited for it! I have very fond memories of reading LOTR and the Hobbit growing up.

Those were different men man. Lets be real men before the automotive/ Industrial Age were serious hombres did a lot of manual labor and were a whole different breed. Now man are almost domesticated and don't have anything that really taps into that side if the brain
    Domesticated men?

    Like dogs, cats, and capybara?
I can't wait. LOTR was one of my favorite trilogy's ever
    Surprise, surprise...
Funny you say that because Ferrari doesn't make manuals. Nor Lamorghini. I don't think Maserati does either. :D
Ummmmm, yea they do, they all do.
Penis extension, you see these people all the time on the road.
    That's what I said.
Please I barely give him credence he acts like a petulant child. Really speaks to his character and upbringing
My upbringing was mad nice, it focussed on open-mindedness and education.

My education level is quite great, which is why I use the English language the way it was intended, and not cut up and mediocre like your wife's circumcised labia.

Yes domesticated as in men who can't change a tire. Or their oil. Who don't know how to fish or hunt. Couldn't build a 3D puzzle let alone a habitat

    @Burke.

They're not manuals per se with a stick shift and clutch. Sure you can change the gears yourself but that's not what we were talking about.

Wait, so changing oil and tires is akin to hunting and fishing?

Most could do the latter millennia before the prior.
Not akin, but every man at one point years back knew all those things and more they were rights of passage and now men have become shells of themselves " pussified" if you will
