For all the complaints people have here about the dept. of motor vehicles and the mentally handicapped people who run the place, I always found that not getting into a class at uni and having to find a way to actually not graduate a semester or year later was even more Byzantine.

Sorry. Long winded. Basically, not getting into a uni class, and struggling to find a way to not delay your graduation because of it, is one of the most f*ed-up bureaucratic experiences on the planet.

Luckily my process was quick, one of my friends has been on the phone for 5 days and he still can't find anything decent*
