I love that movie, even though it isn't really that good. I just like that whole style of absurd/surreal 80s film. In the French dubbed version, Monique is Spanish, and more authentic than the girl playing Monique.

The movie is a mess, and it doesn't hold up as well over the decades since its creation. But it's awesomely irreverent for its time, place, and the B-movie ethic it was given.

While it doesn't hold up as well as Ferris Bueller's Day Off, it is still a great movie.
