There's a lot to do there. It's big, though, so prepare to drive a bit to get anywhere. Depends on what you're up for -- a lot to see and do.

I just checked and apparently it's pretty fucking cold in Vegas in January. Shite.

I didn't go to LA, exactly, but hung around Beverly Hills/Hollywood sort of general area for a few days.

Was alright.

Wandered around Rodeo Drive a bit, did a couple of touristy tours and had a day at the beach at Santa Monica.

Can't say I was overly taken with what I saw.

Of that trip, that bit of it came a poor third compared to San Francisco and New York.
