I think Cork, I have been trying to find out. There's a big Irish community in Nova Scotia, one of the few places where they still speak the language, and most came over in the 19th century, but I can't find much specific info on my people. "Patrick Carty" is far too common of a name

I meant Cornwall My granddad's family is from Cornwall, my grandmother is Slovenian, and the other half of my mum's family are from France...we're all a mixed bag over here.

went to the hospital last night as my sister was going into labour, got too tired and went home first, she had no strength to push and did caesarian, and now the baby is incubated, they'd still have to monitor and hoping all will be clear-I don't know if it's normal or not, but as a doctor herself she was v upset she couldn't see the baby right after as she feared something will be wrong, I hope it's just her delirium talking. will see her during lunch hour.
