It's been downgraded to 256k for the rest of the month cos I used up my 25gb monthly download limit. Should go back to my regular 4mbps next month.

My connection IS unlimited. But we got something called Fair Usage Policy where each user has a certain download limit using his normal speed. Once that limit is passed, it remains unlimited, but at a reduced speed. Sucks, but that's what the government here has enforced.

I.e. 'Unlimited' now means 'as much as the average person could possibly do in a month.

If you think about it, you could in theory download over 3000GB in a day with some really fast connections, or 90,000 a month...

Something like that. They put a limit on the speed of the connection, but not on how much you download.

One of my closest friends from my first uni has just moved to cardiff and we've been hanging out a lot as he doesn't know many people and I don't want to know anyone here. He asked me if I wanted to come over for dinner at his house, he then gave me the ingredients and walked out - I cooked lasagne, went to the shop to buy the missing ingredients, - then he offered it to his housemates as 'i jsut cooked lasagne, would you like some' and then they gave him all the credit for (and i quote) - "the best lasagne I have ever eaten".

I love cooking & I am always happy to do it - A) when I know im going to be doing it, B) When I have my kitchen and my equiptment and C) when i get the credit .
