plugs do shut out surrounding noise, but they do so by completely sealing off your ear canal, which leads to higher temperatures and ear wax clogging in the canal because. the more worrying aspect of it is that, since your ear canal is shut off completely all the noise goes directly down your ear canal. the sound quality sucks, there's no soundscape plus it's a terrible strain on your ear drum that all that noise is going directly to it. plugs are terrible for your ears, trust me.

Its my own work - it feels weird reading my own work. It was even weird a few weeks back when a group i was working with did a presentatio based on a few essays I had written. I prepared the presentation and explained it all to them - also giving them a copy of the main essay. They each took their scripts word for word from my essay - I was organizing it and dealing with questions so I was stood there baffled when I heard my essay being read out to me by them.
