Oh man, really sorry to hear that  Was he/she sick or just old?

Interview was this morning yes, went very well. Have to wait on a call back, hopefully this afternoon :xfinger:

I hope you get it!

He was 14 and has been in decline for the past three years, he developed vertigo last week and he hadn't eaten all week so my parents were left with the choice of him potentially starving himself to death over the bank holiday when they couldn't get him support, putting him in an ICU or letting him go peacefully. We all agreed on the later. Its sad, but i'm glad he has been a part of my life for so long.

That's a great way to think about it mate  Our family dog was in similar circumstances when we had to put him down. He was 17 and pretty much completely deaf. Probably could have lasted another year but it just didn't seem fair as their was no quality of life for him. I'm sure it would be the same in your little guys situation too, so I think you guys made the right choice.

aye, he had cataracts, arthritis and was deaf...this was essenitally the final straw. Im not looking forward to when our next one leaves us, she has been a lot closer with me than him in recent years as i can take her out for walks and she likes sleeping on my bed. Anyway, i'll be toasting G tonight by getting trashed.

yup, he has such a great family..got along just fine with all of them, but it seems she's the problem

how's your life kat?
I hope she snaps out of it, maybe a couple days off will help.

My life is okay, ups and downs, quite a few downs, but in the grand scheme of things I guess it's alright. Working on my thesis, moving into a new place, and trying to figure out what it is that I need to do in order to be happy :)
