It's great. For one it's much roomier and airy. The old place used to be a boiling pot in the summer. Also more room for my cats to run about :D
How do you like yours?

It's wonderful, much more air, light and a bigger den ;)

Same with ours, just more air. The place we had before had small windows (the bedroom always had to have the light on) and was so close to the next building that all you could see was the fat people across the way having sex. Now we can see the ocean :D

As long as the others can't see you having sex, I guess it's all good.

Have an interview tomorrow, quite nervous as I've only done a phone interview in the past two years so I'm pretty rusty. It's only a sales associate job for a phone shop so it shouldn't be too tasking, but if anyone has got any tips they could pass on I'd be very grateful

All the best mate :)

Remember that sales is about selling yourself first.

That's what the interview's all about too, so go it with the mindset that the interviewer is a customer and you're the product.

Ask them lots of questions about the job, company, your responibilities etc. It shows you are interested and want to learn  .

THIS!

At the end of the interview, let them know that you're looking forward to hearing from them about the result of the interview, and also that if you are selected for the job, you'll accept it ASAP, even if you may not.

i was pretty sure i had to read 1600 pages to finish my article. just found out that i really don't need about 700 of the pages. fucking awesome, i can get done with this by the 15th and then start working on my next article. when that's done, i don't have any classes nor exams. next semester doesn't start until late september.

theory of communication (i have to write an article for a historic newsletter for academics) about the fire in copenhagen in 1728, how the city coped with it administratively, how the aprox 15.000 (out of 65.000 total population) displaced lived during the rebuilding, about the actual rebuilding itself.

my next paper has a pensum of 2200 pages, spanish america. rooted in All mankind is one : a study of the disputation between Bartolomé de las Casas and Juan Ginés de Sepúlveda in 1550 on the intellectual and religious capacity ot the American Indians.

great advice guys  I can talk myself up easily enough but when it comes to those situational type questions I tend to falter. I always find it easier to act in the moment, as opposed to telling someone how I'd go about it. I know that sounds strange but I sometimes find it hard to explain to someone how I would solve a problem, if I'm thrown into a situation though I excel.

@Sheik, I get what you mean, in a round about way, ask them when you will start to show confidence right?

Will just read up a bit more on the company and that's all I can do really apart from be myself.
Thanks again chaps, definitely gonna put those tips into practice and I'll tell you how I get on.
