Let's just say as I've gotten older and have been married longer, I've developed a much greater respect and admiration for couples who have been together a really long time. Relationships take two people to make work, and just one to screw it up. And even with hard work and determination, that sometimes isn't enough either.

I also used to bust on divorced people for being idiots, flighty, or failures. But my opinion has changed on that too.

It was a joke. Simply put the only way you can get divorced is if you're married. Hence the leading cause of marriage is the leading cause of divorce.
