sounds like you have a cool gf, enjoy it and stop complaining :p unless the purpose of your post was to show off in which case keep at it!
I did tell her at least 5 times not to do it lol. Its really nice she wants me to be comfortable but it wont make me comfortable and I don't want to make her feel bad if I don't use them, fuck it.

Martin I have more first world problems (This will sound worse if you know britian/class divides here) -

For christmas I had to buy my mum a new phone because when she goes to look after her horses she gets no signal and the only way I wake up in the morning is if someone rings me, prior to my girlfriend the only person prepared to ring me every morning was my mum and sometimes she'd forget to do it because one of the horse's would be playing up. :sergio:, thus i would over sleep and miss a lecture.

After christmas when I was moving back to cardiff I had a half hour arugment with my dad over which of our land rovers to bring my stuff back to cardiff in and pointing out I had to much to put in our TVR.

You don't know first world problems bitches!!!!

I know what you're saying. Sometimes I had to borrow the crappy Toyota when my dad was using the proper car. Can you even imagine the horror?

I don't know if your being sarcastic or agreeing with me, but over the winter break my dad was a real dick he took me off the insurance on my car, brought my brother car and then put me on that insurance, fucking peugeot.

Jasper the phones nowadays do come with alarms you know. Some of them REALLY loud. :S
I know, I sleep through them after the first day. Im awful with sleeping, It takes me about 3 hours to fall asleep and I am impossible to wake up unless someone rings me and gets me to hold a conversation.

Oy, don't generalize. I know girls who slit throats for far less than disrespecting their pillows.
Don't get me wrong...some things you do feel like slapping the other half for but I don't think this especially if he explains nicely.

I was once slapped because I caughed while brushing my teeth, so toothpaste/saliva sprayed over her big mirror which she had recently cleaned (and because I couldn't stop laughing). I mean, WTF!

Abusive relationships

 It was funny. I would have just told you to clean it up after you were done! :p

I had an ex who used to act like a HUGE bitch if I tried doing something nice and it wasn't what he wanted. Then later on he would come and apologise and say it was a nice gesture. He was the nastiest person ever!

I ain't cleaning nothing. The way I was brought up pretty much ruined me for any future serious relationship I'm afraid.

I'm all about first world problems
I had to google it after martin said it.

I get it but Its all about relativity, what affects your day to day life is of importance to you. I am one of the few people that is constantly aware of the suffering that goes on in the world because its what i study, its what i want to work in etc. But most people aren't aware or don't have constant exposure.

But that pillow thing is something that im gonna have to deal with in 4 weeks and for 4 nights im gonna be uncomfortable and that is something that is going to happen to me and be of relative importance regardless of what someone else is going through, its still gonna piss me off.

If this 'first world problem' thing is gonna exist then it surely should be about something that is of complete unimportance but of which someone is making a fuss. I saw a kid on my facebook a few days post a rant about his mum buying milk chocolate yoghurt rather than dark chocolate yoghurt.

Kid deserves a kick in the cunt.

Dude -- your gf made an awesome gesture there. Give her major props and try to engender that kind of thoughtfulness in yourself to keep it reciprocal.

However, white lies as they may be, pretending that you have a love of 47 pillows at night isn't the right solution either. Particularly because it becomes an issue of honesty. Better to set a precedent of being honest now than creating a mutual culture where each of you sometimes holds back on things.
