Did u eat in Hao Xiang Lai restaurants back in china? the steak-pasta-egg-Baijiu combo was fucking amazing!
Thing i find weird is that i cant eat pasta but i can eat eggs noodles without problem. I didnt, but i ate in CFC sometimes and there noodles were very similar to pasta.

I loved the food in china, but vietnamese food was a lot nicer, eating pho in the morning was like heaven.

That sucks. I eat a surprising amount of pasta for a skinny person, and it doesn't seem to do much. Potatoes and bread, on the other hand, do damage.
I used to eat pasta a lot - its quick and filling. But it started giving me bad stomach cramps. Whenever i eat it now it just tastes starchy to me and i cant get out of my head how it is just a big lump of carb. I tend to stick clear of breads apart from tortilla and pitta. Unless im in france, nothing will stop me destroying a baguette every day :weee:. Potatoes i dont eat too much, just because what i cook doesn't ask for them. But when i do its always ridiculous - goose fat roasts, dauphinoise, gratin or garlic butter mash....i just made myself hungry.

Oh man, baguettes...I could eat one every day if it didn't make me fat. Potatoes cooked in stock or with fat or cheese is fine, but almost any other form is really bland to me. I don't really like mash, garlic or not, or chips or roast potatoes. I get that feeling you get with the pasta where it just feels like a big starchy carb.

Fact of the day - there are 10 million prescriptions per year for sleeping tablets in the UK. We're addicted.
You ever been to Italy? Pasta is fucking expensive in italy, Also the efficacy of diets have to tak into consideration a load of cultural and economic factors. People living in the med countries have incredibley different lives to the one i lead and a different climate which has an impact on metabolism. Hotter weather = higher energy consumption.
