You guys have an alternative. Here the public transport is both terrible and expensive, so unless you have a car, you pretty much can't move around freely.

I drive a 1992 vehicle that just turned 90k miles -- the last 15k of which I put on over the past 10 years. It sucks that I now have no option but to drive the 30 miles to work every day.

you should live in england then you will understand what poor public transportation is, i'd say it is the most expensive in Europe to say the least and the least efficient too with constant strikes
