In England I have found that she appeals greatly to both gay men and women, whereas those three are largely absent from the Lesbian Corpus. Replace with Ani Difranco, Sarah MacLachlan and anything sung by a woman that comes under the heading of "coffee house".
Interesting. Now I never followed Dolly enough to know what her big followers were like these days. I could see a little of that gay "camp appeal" thing going on with her though.

Makes me think of a related story from last week from a gay friend of mine. Not sure how true it is or not, but it might set a number of hetero members here back a bit. He claims gays love boobies. Big 'uns too. It's the Maldini that's the deal-breaker.

So there you have it.

I have actually observed this to be true in the cases of my gay friends. They love all boobies, perhaps for the ridiculousness of it all. And boy do we straight women ever let them touch them, too...

It is primarily 9 to 5 that they love ;)

That makes me wonder: does this make Chaz Bono the most repellent thing imaginable to gay men?
Why would you transform yourself from an ugly fat woman to an ugly gay fat man?

I had toast, it was pretty pathetic. There's a wine and cheese event at 3:30, though, so I don't have too long to wait.
I love good wine and good cheese. We had some good ish when we went to Italy

It tends to be good because the professors buy it, and they're continentals with larger wallets than ours. So it should be nice.
Damn Frogs!

Btw, while we're coming out of the closet here, this doesn't seem subject for the French or gay adoption threads, but it combines the two. You do realize that one of my favorite 20th century figures is Maurice Chevalier, yes? (Look at my profile even.) How I can get away with that in this town without being labelled a raging homosexual is quite surprising...

Oh man. I am haunted by the image of Depardieu singing Thank Heaven for Little Girls in My Father, the Hero and I just can't get down with Chevalier. I do like Trenet, though, which is kind of in the same category.
