Damn, here I am in week 2 and worried why these people haven't called me back yet.
It seems worse than usual this time around, IMO. Like people are really busy and they just take longer to get back to you. In my industry, that's a bit weird -- given that there's a competitive market for candidates now that would make companies speed up the process. But whatever. I have days where not much happens to when I am busy all afternoon meeting and talking with 3-4 different people.

It's damn slow, but it's progress.

Thanks for asking.

Not too shabby. It's kind of slow and deliberate. So I end up with busy times with a number of people to chat with, etc. But at my level, it means the interview process is many stages, with many people, strung out over a longer period of time. Two years ago when I was in this position, it took me two months for two places from the time they first contacted me to the time they both gave me job offers.

So it's about slow and steady...
2 months.... Damn m8 i hope you will get some interesting offers soon then.
So are you looking for a job that goes international or you want to stay in one place this time, iirc you had to travel to some countries last year right?

At my level, they have a lot of people check you out for cultural fit as well as competency. So that can take a while.

I'd like to do some international travel for my job again... someplace cool. These days, it's looking more likely if I do it will end up in a place like the Ukraine, etc. Which might be cool for Euro 2012. I figure I need to find a job to get me to Brazil for 2014. :D

Just the way she speaks. She speaks like a friggin 13 year-old, and not like how an adult should. Plus, total lack of technical proficiency needed in a job like ours. :sergio:

Bro trust me. I'd love to bang her. She has an ass like whoa! But I can't stand her when she speaks!
She'll learn the technical proficiency. :p

I bet she knows how to scream. :klin:

Lapaaaaaaaaaaaa, I've been around man. Was in Texas for a week earlier this month but back home now. You? What you been up to?

Word. Btw, can you explain why a buddy of mine who works at the company I've applied to tells me to not call and inquire about the status of my application? The same guy who recommended the company to me for weeks only to get all bitchy at how I managed to get my bachelors degree in a different way from him.
