How can trump be a serious candidate? He's one of the most disliked celebrities and like it or not it's a two party system and neither will pick him.
He's popular with the Tea party degenerates who are basically fringe Neo-Cons. And look at the poll, Trump is right up there with Mit Romney of all people -- someone who has been in the game for years and thus isn't an electable sort of guy.

This country is obsessed with celebrities and Presidents. They'll hail him as the new Reagan and put him into office because he "knows business and can bring America back to its status as an economic powerhouse." BS.

To tell you the truth, Trump is offering up some good points, some I agree with. But you simply can't trust him in dealing with Wall Street and the fraud in this economy. He's a major part of it.

Still, his only chance of challenging Obama is getting the republican nomination, which he won't.
Why wouldn't he? Romney has support but they know he's a loser. Palin is a possibility but too many people don't take her seriously. Who else is there, really?

Trump is a slick guy and would probably win a lot of debates.

And America's morons want someone they can relate to. Even if it's another moron. Especially if it's another moron.

So he then can say, "I run the biggest, best, most filthy rich country in the world!" and idiots can feel better about themselves being unemployed.

I'd say Trump is if anything the opposite of relatable.

People will overlook the "have a beer with him" factor if they've seen him on TV. People treat the yucks they see on TV as if they were people they know in real life.

Which explains why they can watch porn for free on the Internet all day and night, but if someone can produce a nipple shot of some part-time, only half-decent-looking actress who plays an extra on CSI, people go apeshit over that.

And since they don't understand the problems we face in our economy, they will just assume that since Trump is a billionaire businessman, he'll have all the answers -- even when he's been part of the problem since day one.

It's not going to happen
And Sarah Palin as a VPN nom can't?
And people said Obama wasn't going to happen. And people said Obama would always be a vast improvement to Bush. Et cetera.

Some peruvian wizard that predicted 9.11 and some other events (I forget) said Obama will be re-elected
The only thing that can save Obama at this point is a major terror attack, a huge war, or a boom in the economy. The latter won't happen, so he's secretly hoping for a disaster.

Because running government is just like running a business. :pado:

Ain't that right, Meg Whitman? :seven:

Donald Trump becoming president of the USA would be a joke

I always watch The Apprentice and I think he sometimes gives good advise on that show but that's it
