My visa expired, and it was easier for my boyfriend to get a visa for Canada than it was for me to get another one for the UK.

We thought that too, and maybe things are better in Toronto, but there isn't much of a quality of life here for us. Working on fixing this, though.

We live in Nova Scotia, so we're quite isolated from the rest of the country (one of the reasons food is so expensive). We live in the biggest city out here, and downtown, so that part is okay, but getting away from here is expensive as well. I work at a university and can basically do my work anywhere, it's just saving up to leave and getting the paperwork sorted. We are hoping to move to Devon in the near future.
