'ello everyone.

Being lazy myself. I had long lectures today, when I came back I just took teh food and went to bed to take a nap. Now watching Marseille - Manchester and planning what to do after. If anything I'll read Finances and if that goes down I'll hit the bed again since I'm still kinda tired. :lazy:

Yes. Dying species should be protected.

Not immortal but pointless.

As it's globalization and you can't change anything with your (one minor) decision - yes.
Interesting:

If animals are not endangered then you believe they can be hunted for food?

Why do you think bullfighting is pointless? Do you think football is pointless?

Should ine just accept globalisation, or resist it?

I've no idea.

There are so many inconsistencies in what is deemed okay when it comes to different kinds of animals.
Totally. People only care about protecting cute or endangered ones as if their lives are more meaningful then the millions that get slaughtered every year for food.

No but there should be a rational use of everything. Animals, wood and most importantly - water. It's actually the only way to balance everything and make this life acceptable for future generations.

Fighting against a bull while crowd is watching? Yes, I do think it's pointless and not just that, but it makes me wonder if this is a 21st century we're living in.

With democracy it's not possible to fight it as it doesn't even exist - it's corporations who control almost everything on this Planet, where one (any given) state can't interfere with such issues, and not one person.

Still thinking about animals rights.
Is Whaling wrong?
Is Bullfighting immoral?
Should I wear leather shoes?
1) A better question: Who's going to eat all the krill that eat algae that if not eaten by krill have the possibility form blooms that cause paralytic shelfish poisoning or even worse turn the ocean into one giant "dead zone" with no fishies?

2) No. It goes to market and it gets a chance to "live".

3) Absolutely. Cattle are cattle.

Where do you work/what do you do?
I work in a university with interesting people who think the rules don't apply to them :) We have a locked cabinet that stays stocked with wine and also stores our proper wine glasses. We often have parties for visiting lecturers, or ourselves...
