Today I got an interview offer for a law firm in London! Funny how one unexpected thing can make you feel like you can take on the world.

Congrats bro. Not to be a party pooper but just when you think you've arrived, life kicks you in the nuts & punches you in the throat. Stay humble.

I went there for uni, and it was better at the beginning but seemed to go downhill over the years. More and more unpleasant incidents on a night out in town. Still they have great restaurants and good shopping, and the surrounding countryside is beautiful.

Ah, never been there. Don't really want to either.

Thanks B, I know I'm only at an interview, there will be lots of other people too.
Plus it's only a work placement for a year, no strings attached, Ill be 20 so it'll be lots of years yet till I start my real working life as there's a long way to go to be fully qualified as a solicitor.

No I will be doing real jobs but with the lesser important clients, it's pretty daunting actually as it's a huge step up and yes the firm has a great reputation.
