I'm 20, our group has been together for a good 10 years but I thing everyones going their own ways.
    Inevitable.
Surprised it's taken that long to happen for you, Luca.

I'd think it happens to most pretty much as soon as school finishes.
    Agreed.
I used to know this kid named Mike something...
    Me?
    Happens just when HS finishes

If you're lucky it happens when college is over
You have to have friends first...

    Sluts don't count.

No we've been many places together abroad 5 at least since we left school and dining things all the time, even though we've been at university for a year in different parts of the country we've kept in touch and visited each other Ive even been asked to be a best man by one of my closest friends, but tonight really seemed like the end of it and somethings change I suppose.

I'd say about 2-3 years after high school and I all together stopped regularly talking to or hanging out with every one of the guys I hung out with back then.

People move on. It happens. Childhood friendships aren't meant to last.

Not to cheer you up with better news, but just you wait until it's your friends' marriages...
I've already experienced that. So far I've been invited to 1 out of 4 weddings. It's disappointing.

They all still talk to each other and do stuff and then call me last minute.

I still hang out/talk to my childhood friends weekly.

But what you just said is the most common case.

My best mate from school is still one of my best mates. I don't see other folk from school much, though.

I spend more time with folk I met at uni nowadays.

    Yeah, but... :shifty:

I don't buy the namby pamby school of parenting that wants to make their kids their "best buddies" bullcrap.

That said, it's one thing to discipline a kid. It's another thing entirely to make an Internet video of it. That's just retarded.
Yea, but the embarrassment might do some school-yard justice.

There's still I'd say about 4 guys I still hang out with regularly since HS was over. Once I go away to school it'll be harder to keep in touch, but shit happens.

I've been to 6 friends' weddings so far. The 7th is in a month.

My situation reminds me of a quote I read somewhere that said something like "Everyone I know is getting married, I'm just getting drunk" :D
