The explosion didn't do a lot of damage apparently, the escaping gas caught fire and its flame is still going strong, tremendous heat.

As they said on ABC 7, you can still see from afar the individual gas lines at each house still burning.

Unbelievable. And the bad thing is this happened at about 6pm local time, right as everyone was arriving back from work and school.

It's like a fucking war zone.
