Saturday night.

They might have a permit. My pops says he'll call some of the guys he knows at the City and see what's up.

It's understandable to block the alley for a few hours while you load/unload. But blocking the alley for an entire weekend is overkill. And to be rude about it in addition. I hope they don't think they can use the alley for parking. Shit'll get messy then.

It appears the neighbors are miffed as well.:numnum:

This is always the gayest week of all summer. Starting today the largest non professional swimming event in all the USA is going to be down the street from my house.

Its a fuckin cult, these people are nuts.

What did you do?
Spoke to the owner of the company. It was his wife that was being rude.

I just convinced him that blocking an alley for a weekend was really inconvenient to the residents. I said blocking it to load and unload for a few hours is fine but blocking the alley during the auction may give people coming into the neighborhood an idea that it's ok to park in it and that would most likely create conflict with the residents. I also added that the residents would be more inclined to check out what they were selling if he didn't block them in.

I didn't mention his wife's attitude.
