Also, what about people who have several nationalities? Maybe it's not common in the US, but nationality is starting to mean less and less within the EU borders.
Here people with spanish/italian/portuguese/german passports root for those countries because of their "double nationality". However I don't believe in "double nationaliti" you're either one thing or the other

No, you're not. There's no such thing as nationality anyway. It's all artificial and if it's artificial, you can be three or four.
