The only good thing he does is hold up the ball, which he isn't even that great at. Passing is horrible, shooting is horrible, pace is lethargic, aerial ability is average, and his football brain is mediocre. He's only scored 11 goals in 44 caps and all his goals came against the worst of the worst in CONCACAF, like Barbados and T&T.

He does nothing for our play.

Unbelieably that he's a really good striker with target man qualities, he sounds really in love with him. To be fair to the idiot he thinks Ballotelli is the best thing since sliced bread.
He's good for Dynamo in the MLS, but he's not much of an International player and tends to disappear into Brian McBride's shadow during big matches.

To your friend's defense. Ballotelli is a good player.

Ching has only been a detriment to the national side. He adds basically nothing besides tap-ins against weak teams.

There is no reason to waste time with someone who rates that guy.
