I wish I hadn't taken any AP tests in high school now because my parents are using it as justification for keeping me here since academically I don't need to go.

Everything in Berkeley is a mess but I know the area very well which has its upsides and downsides

@Dooz, Curr's avatar always does that to me
But then on the flipside would you be in school right now if you hadn't received all those AP credits?

BTW i heard that Berkeley is just swamped by bums all outside the campus

Yea, isn't that whacked out. I might not be in Berkeley but I could still have made into a number of UCs.

It is, College and Telegraph are pack full of bums begging for change and weed. There is a whole commune of homeless hippies who sleep under the trees in people's park which is right next to most of the Berkeley housing and some of them even try to get into parties to drink and steal stuff. One of my friends had two Xbox 360s and a dvd player stolen from his frat by a homeless guy.

Enough so that my long-haired Berkeley housemate was passing a kidney stone, and while writhing on the ground in Sproul Plaza unable to speak, people stepped over him thinking he was just another crazy drugged-out homeless dude.

I was in People's Park when they held a 20th anniversary protest - coinciding with the construction of volleyball courts.

It got pretty crazy towards the end. Me getting shot at by rubber bullets as I was walking at the unfortunate back-end of a march when a row of cops on motorcycles swept the streets. I had to dive over a fence at some local's house to avoid the gunfire!

Here in San Francisco, we have more nutjobs like this lady in front of me in line at a Walgreen's drug store this morning:
