That was a fun night indeed. Loved seeing the trouble the students caused in College Park live on TV.
I was there man. I was sophomore in high school but my brother lived like 2 min off campus so I went over to watch the game at his place (couldn't get in for the big screen). As soon as the final whistle was heard College Park erupted. One hell of a night that.

I (and about 40 other pedestrians) saw a homeless guy shit into a big gulp slurpy cup on the corner of Robson and Hornby the other day - from about 6 feet away, no less - and it was less offensive than that Pelosi picture.

Actually... I guess realistically, it could be a draw between the two...

:D

Wow. I thought the BC homeless were a bit more classy than that.

They usually are, but this one clearly had some serious mental issues... judging by the ziplock bag of toilet paper he was conveniently carrying...

The VAG (Vancouver Art Gallery, corner of Robson and Hornby) is usually a little more civilized than that...

At least it wasn't in front of the entrance.

I haven't been to BC, but I have visited Edmonton for a week summer of 2008.
I heard the homeless in Edmonton immigrate to BC in the winter, and from what I have seen, Edmonton homeless are one annoying bunch and there are plenty of them.... I mean really plenty...chinese plenty!!!!

Yeah, there is a bit of a homeless epidemic in Vancouver, due to the weather... although you wouldn't know it from watching coverage of the Olympics. They cleaned the downtown out pretty quickly, opened some additional temporary shelters, and such. You can basically live on the street all year around, so Van is a pretty attractive option from that standpoint.

Of course, the cost of living isn't exactly cheap, which makes it virtually impossible for them to get back on their feet.

Let's go Butler! 1 point game!

You mean you haven't seen a close game separated by 1 point with 1 minute left? :wth:
