University food sucks. I ate french green beans (means they were doused in balsamic vinegar) and "cajun" chicken (I don't know what it was but it didn't taste like chicken).

If you really want the iPhone then I would suggest wait until the summer because that's when Apple is planning on releasing the next gen iPhone. The big difference will be that the new iPhone will be released to numerous carriers instead of just AT&T. And with the introduction of any new handset on any carrier comes great deals on rate plans and rebates on phones.

Right now AT&T and Verizon are the most expensive carriers. Verizon trumping all of them. And Sprint is by far the best coverage, phones and price with the unlimited data, text and minutes plan they have. They're network is solid and extensive to the point that even Verizon piggy back's off of Sprint's network to deliver "the best 3g coverage in America".

I would wait until early summer to see what upcoming phones are going to be released since the MWC just ended less than a month ago. With new phones comes better rate plans and with the open handset alliance being driven by Google, these carriers are forced to bring the prices of their plans down.
What new features will the new iPhone have?

I still don't get why people buy that phone, its pretty but its too expensive and not that functional. Typing a text on that phone is soooo hard comparing to typing a text on a blackberry. With the bb you get the same main features that the iphone offers (web browsing, email, etc. ) Plus you get bbm which is free and if you have friends with bbs you can send unlimited texts, voice notes and pictures ! I have saved sooo much on my phone bill because nowadays I don't call I just send voice notes or texts.
If you want the iPhone for the apps it has then get an iPod touch! If you like the touch screen feature get the bb storm or the bb slider that has a touch screen plus full qwerty keyboard.

The call dropping varies between the area and provider but the text typing is easier with a blackberry or whichever phone that has a full qwerty keyboard
Coverage and service do play a part. However, some phones do receive signals better than others, I actually asked that question when I got my current phone because I was going out west to fight wild fires.

I'm not really into all the techie shit and apps.

Yeah I'm guessing if you have a phone that is on the 3G/edge network it should be better... Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm not into the tech stuff and apps either I got the Blackberry because most of my friends have it and by using the Blackberry Messenger service I've saved a lot of money on my phone bill because texts and file sharing on BBM is free. Plus the keyboard is amazing!
