I was a vegetarian for a couple years. Mostly economic reasons. Moving out to California where great produce was cheap compared to meat was a big incentive on a grad student budget.
Then I stopped denying my inner carnivore. As someone's sig so famously put it here, "If God didn't want us to eat animals, he wouldn't have made them out of food."

Has anyone ever been to Denver Airport?
Apparently there's a huge bunker beneath the place built by the government to use for potential disasters. The terminal itself is supposedly littered with strange paintings on the walls, like fiery infernos burning humans and animals to death, along with some people held up in an underground room with the images of folks suffering above them. Quite weird murals for a public airport.
