And later, in the 19th century, when the Balkan monarchies were formed, the king wasn't a Romanian/Bulgarian/Greek. He was chosen from a west European branch of a royal family (from Bavaria, Prussia, Denmark etc) as a garant from the Great Powers. These kings were coming from branches of the royal families and through marriages they even strengthened the links between them and the other royal families. That way almost all European royal families were related.

I find it 'cool' that a prince of Hanover is in line of succession to the British throne.

Imagine if all these monarch weren't just for show like they are now...Seven (we'll assume he's royalty for a second) could become the leader of a Western European power :scared: :snoop:
