Oh yeah, this can end up being really ugly. The best all around player and the 2nd best pitcher get traded for some no names. While willis and bonderman are still on the roster. This trade just came out of no where. Granderson is your every day starter. He can hit, run, steal, and capable of covering the outfield as good as anybody in the MLB.

Goddamnit. Granderson was the only player in baseball nowadays that I liked.

I don't know the guys they got in return, looks like a few pitchers and a prospect.
granderson is a top notch OF and i'm not happy with the tigers on trading him away.

but from all the reports it seems that all three teams involved in the trade got a good deal. the tigers are in need of some good pitching but who isn't? i just don't think it justifies giving up granderson

Since I don't know anything about the pitchers they received, I can't judge. But losing Granderson makes me somewhat angry, even when I dont care much about baseball.

Detroit got a great deal. Granderson is a wonderful outfielder, but I don't think he would have stayed in Detroit longer than his current contract. That said, it's important in baseball to look to the future and nothing is better for the future of a club than pitching. Trust me, as an Astros fan I've watched them trade great pitching prospects away and now our starters blow. Detroit got a good deal.

Tigers traded their closer, that's not a big deal. Especially with the FA market being flooded with closers this year. Teams will get 30+ saves on the cheap.

Edwin was our second starter on the rotation after verlander. After these 2 our starting pitchers all suck. Bonderman, nate and willis are all useless.

I hate studying. Big final tomorrow at 3:00pm.
Good luck.

That's another reason why I held out criticizing. If we have great pitching, we'll go far even with poor outfielders.

Yes. A hard ass final. I have to know LEED requirements for buildings. If you don't know what the LEED program is, then google and sacrifice a goat for me.
