If you want to do your MA in Aberystwyth then I should probably talk to you, if you were talking about my doing my MA in Cardiff next yr, i dont get your point.
I'm looking at intelligence studies or Security Studies, the cost of the MA is 1/2 that of Ireland. Do you recommend it? It mustn't be good if you want to persue it elsewhere.

Also are you elctured my Carl Death at all???

Last time I ran was on Tuesday. Tell me about feeling bad. I woke up depressed today, I have a lot to do but the run was priority one. It feels great now, the feeling one gets after workout has no equivalent.
You're on the up, I just came down, that's the way gymin works I guess.

ROLFLOL at Dr Death, hes my housemate (chindies) personal tutor, epic epic name. No i would recomend comming here, but its fucking hard work, if you were serious about comming here then i can show you about the town etc. Aber is great for being here for a year, but its a small town (12000 populase - 10000 students) We have most the pubs per populase in europe, but once you've got past that there isnt much to do. Its great for a year, but iv been here for almost three years.....Who is the convener for Security Studies/Teaching Staff? I know that Gerard Hughes is head of postgrad study and hes a really good teacher, but a bit of a bellend if you go to the pub with him.

Fair Enough. Is their Clubs ther eor do you have to go to a big town?
Big town? This is the big town, the closest Big Town is Shrewbury which is a 2 hour drive or 3 hours on the train, you may aswell go to birmingham if you are doing that. There were three clubs and now theres two - Yokos/Why Not and Pier Pressure. I dont want to put you off comming here, theres lots to do here, aberystwyth is the hub of mid wales, but if you are here for three years, it all gets a bit old esp when the student loans dry up.

Lucky I'm going for a year then eh?

I doubt I'll be too pushed due to the ammount of work I'll have to do. So long as I have access to a few pints and Sky Sport I'll be okay.

I met an irish dude a few weeks back who has come here as a mature undergrad and he was saying that aber is dirt cheap compared to ireland. App you pay 5e for a pint if not more and we pay £1.50-£3 in aber.

At the union if you want a Carlberg its 2.10 or kronenbourg is 2.30, we have four pound nights a week where everything behind the bar is a quid (within reason) and we have Bar Ftse once a week. There are a couple of pound nights in town, but its not overly expensive reardless. When im at home in the 'Garden of England' Im paying £4.50 for a pint of carling lol. We have sick takeaways here aswell. Two 15" pizzas for a tenner...any topping...not bad.

I'm at DCU it's not the may west but it's the only Uni in Ireland that teaches IR.

I was in my local last night, its 5 euro a bottle, 4.20 a pint. Its about 4.50 a pint out unless there's a promotion on etc. A JD+Coke is about €8.50

A 12" Pizza is 12.50

Everything is pretty expensive tbh.

Is there a gym on campus?

I figure our prices are cheap because the economy of this town for the majority of the year is entirely dependent on students and as such have to to cater to students. I have never understood why bottles cost more. We have a sports center on campus with a climbing room, free weights, standard gym, squash/badminton/boxing. And anaerobics/aerobics rooms. Theres probably more but i dont really go down there.
