I'm think about cutting my cable/satellite bill(new taxes and increase to come) and just watch TV on the Internet. I can connect a computer to an HD TV right? I can use it as a TV and monitor. I think it can be done.

Anyway I'm looking at 5.0 Mbps unlimited Download Speed fot about 34$ a month.
Cut down, is it that expensive?

I don't really prefer that idea, I wouldn't rely on streams. It doesn't depend on speed much (1.5mbps would be enough to watch all the channels) and it dies very often.
