I don't think people appreciate these cyclones enough. It's basically like a Spring cleaning in late Summer.

Should be embraced, not hated. Instead of trying to geo-engineer our way out of hurricanes, we should be trying to create more.

Forestry has the same issue. Fire prevention has gotten so out of control in forest management in a lot of areas in the West, the danger levels of massive fires just keeps getting higher as forests begin to strangle themselves with the continuous fall of deadwood and other collected debris that forest fires naturally cleared out on a regular basis -- long before humans intervened.

Since then, forests have become much sicker from the dead overgrowth.
