I still use XP. I'm not really a pc-wizard but it hardly ever fails me. Having a bit of a different skin / theme makes it look really well and work fine without heavy loading times and fancy bs you get with alot of the newer stuff.

I was running XP and Windows 7 on my PC for a while, and Windows 7 booted up faster and was more responsive.
