The artist formerly known as douchebag?

I mean, wtf does anyone care about video awards anyway on a network that now has spent years refusing to play them? Talk about irrelevant...
Seriously.

I was stunned logging onto Facebook seeing how many people actually watched that crap live. Basically half of my friends.

So I just had to change my avatar.

MTV? It's as if the Fox Soccer Channel decided to air nothing but water polo 24x7, but still kept up some farce with an annual FSC/FIFA Awards show.

Brilliant avatar, btw. :lol2:

I'm watching To Catch a Predator. Chris Hanson is funny as shit asking these guys questions. :lol2:

"I just wanted to find somewhere to drink. I have a 15 year old daughter and her friends were over."

"So you decided to come here, a place you've never been to, and drink in front of another 15 year old girl?"

This is a very well written article.

Sort of scary seeing how things have come to a halt.

That is a great article.

I remember a former CEO I worked for telling me last year about all the abandoned shipping vessels. What particularly hit hard last year were the credit markets, which the article doesn't really cite. International shipping is a huge credit swap deal: I pull up a tanker full of Chinese-made microwave ovens, and you sign off on the credit for all those in my local currency. None of that was happening, ships sat idle, and no trade at all was occurring.

And if you've been near the ports around Singapore, you'd know that international shipping is to that area what gambling is to Vegas.

that show is greatness
That show is Congress.
