    You guys will probably get to a Super Bowl before you die. The NFL is set up to cycle like that. Of course, this assumes you live for at least 10 or 15 more years.

    this cycle hasn't come near us in a century. We are excluded.

    Might as well start Stafford and throw him in to the deep end. At least at the minimum that should result in a slight improvement in the Lions' television ratings. Only problem is, we run the risk of having him become destroyed as a player due to the offensive line being crap. Harrington should have been better but he choked and the team didn't help him out, so he was doomed to fail. Stafford is obviously better, but still, you run a huge risk with this. But as a fan, I'm willing to take the risk because the risk-reward is high and we have nothing to lose.

    Anydy, we all know that Dlions oline is a joke. The kid is going to be sacked plenty. He's going to get hit alot, I hope he will rise up to the occasion and not fold. I look forward to the season, and expecting alot from the defense this year, on paper we look like studs
