Wow, that's pretty amazing, considering that Americans don't even consume 1 billion gallons of gas a day.

Check your sources and facts. C4C wouldn't even save a billion gallons PER YEAR. In actuality, doing the math, the program doesn't even save us a day's worth of gasoline.

It's a complete garbage program, and people need to stop spreading ridiculous lies about it.
I have to agree with you cash for clunkers was a retarted idea. I like Obama but I think he is in way over his head right now and this recession is only getting worse. These massive bailouts are not helping either. I didn't want to face it before but with all the shit going on I think our beloved country might be fucked.

If we don't address our national debt and put a stop to the corruption in the financial system, yes, we are fucked. There is absolutely no way our creditors China and Japan will continue putting up with these shenanigans in the long run. Obama had the chance to change Wall Street and Washington by stealing money from the criminals on the former, just like a Robin Hood would, but instead he gave in. Now I want my vote back because I don't support the same old garbage policies from these two parties of criminals.

The trouble with globalization being that we're all fucked at once.

Good luck getting either the Demos or Repubs to change that one.
