You got that right, but there comes a point in every golf game I play that I just think to myself after a double bogey that I need to drink and take my anger out on a cart. Its probably just some Yankee American thing that we find another way to screw something else up that wasn't ours to begin with

I have an anger problem when it comes to sports...call it competitive if you will, I just lose control of rational thoughts...hence pushing the golf carts to its limit.

Any Yanks out there that can support my side here? Maybe its because I am a country boy by origin

Anger issues and golf don't really mix well.

If I'm playing badly I give up on taking less shots than my opponent and start focusing on convincing my opponent to take more shots than me.

I just don't think you get the same feel for a course unless you walk it.

Has to be said, though, I haven't particularly enjoyed my experiences of golfing in the states. The courses aren't nearly as interesting as they are here.
